The PAM8610 Mini 10W+10W Stereo Class-D Audio Power Amplifier Module provides an economical, ultra-compact audio driver solution for small-to-medium power speaker projects. Utilizing Pulse Width Modulation (PWM) Class-D topology, the onboard PAM8610 IC converts audio signals directly into efficient digital switching outputs with minimal heat generation, eliminating the need for bulky aluminum heatsinks.

Operating within a flexible input range of 7V to 15V DC (12V DC recommended), this board drives dual speakers (4Ω to 8Ω) effortlessly. The onboard 32-step DC volume control potentiometer allows smooth attenuation ranging from -75dB to +32dB without introducing input signal distortion or wiper noise. To simplify installation, the board comes equipped with a 3.5mm AUX stereo input jack, a standard 5.5mm x 2.1mm DC power jack, screw terminals for solderless speaker wire connections, and header pin pads for external mute or power switching.

Interface & Wiring Guide

1. Power & Audio Inputs:

• DC Power Jack: Center pin positive (+12V DC), outer barrel ground (0V).

• 3.5mm Audio Socket: Connect standard 3.5mm AUX cable from smartphone, Bluetooth receiver, or PC DAC.

2. Speaker Terminal Outputs:

• L+ / L-: Left Channel Positive and Negative Speaker Output.

• R+ / R-: Right Channel Positive and Negative Speaker Output.

3. Auxiliary Control Pins:

• Mute / SW Header: Shorting the mute pins mutes the audio output stage instantly without powering down the entire IC.

SPEAKER WIRING ADVISORY: The PAM8610 uses Bridge-Tied Load (BTL) output configuration. Do NOT connect the L- and R- negative speaker terminals together, and do NOT bridge any speaker terminal to common power ground (GND). Doing so will immediately damage the output transistors on the PAM8610 chip.
