The L293D Motor Driver Shield Expansion Board is a high-density, multi-functional actuator controller designed to plug directly onto your Arduino Uno or Mega. Driven by two rugged L293D dual H-bridge chips alongside a 74HC596 shift register, this high-performance shield lets you simultaneously manage up to 4 bidirectional DC motors with 8-bit speed selection, or 2 bipolar/unipolar stepper motors. Additionally, it breaks out dedicated hardware timers to drive 2 standard 5V hobby servo motors with smooth, jitter-free precision. Featuring integrated pull-down resistors to keep motors disabled during power-up, an onboard reset button, and independent external terminal blocks for separate logic and motor power supplies (4.5V to 25V), it is the ultimate plug-and-play choice for 4WD autonomous rovers, robotic arms, custom CNC plotters, and educational RC vehicle projects.
